The Fiendish Thingy!

Too preoccupied with Colonel Mann, Gibbs forgets to follow through on a promise to Abby.

Can anybody point me in the direction of Tonks fic that has her dealing with being part of the Black family?  Lupin/Tonks is preferable.  I'm also looking for some Tonks and Sirius friendship pieces.  Cheers!

I'm not too sure what to do with this.  I'm not quite happy with it, and the tenses feel strange, but it's been a while since I've posted fic so I feel bad!

Basically, Mann finally brings her 2IC, a Captain Brian O'Donnell to NCIS for a case and everybody is shocked to learn that he and Abby have a history,  It's just another of my slightly AU attempts to flesh out Abby's past.  Also, Gibbs comes to certain realizations.

Yay!  I got my NCIS ficathon prompts the other day.  They're AWESOME and I think I'll write all three.  I feel bad though, because the person I'm writing them for...well, let's just say that they're not new to my style.

My muse isn't cooperating with me at the moment.  Plots are elusive little creatures.

Oh!  New TARDIS layout.  I'm so happy with it.  The Tardis represents so much, adventure and the like.  My little TARDIS icon makes me smile.  I wish I had my own Tardis.  Or, you know, my own Doctor.

Also, any Melbournians?  How fracking cold is it!?!  I went to Vic Market yesterday in five layers and a hood.  It is just SO cold.  Nice to see some rain, although probably a bit too much for NSW.  The paper said Adelaide's water storage is only about 30 weeks, so let's hope they get some rain.

Here we have a collection of Abby and Abby/Gibbs drabbles, one sentence fics and longer stories.  About 2,000 words in all.  The last is slightly adult but can easily be skipped.  There's some fluff, some funny stuff, some angst.  Ziva's knife throwing lessons return!

Oh!  One of them features Gil Grissom and Greg House!  I wanted to throw some Grissom into a fic, but because I don't really watch the show, couldn't do it extensively.

He heard the gravelly creak of brick grinding against brick and knew, without turning around, that Jamal Malik had opened the secret doorway.  Paula and Tony stood in front of him and he watched them turn, watched them come to the realization that by the time they reached Jamal, it would be too late.  None of that mattered in the end.  She was there for the ceremony, all in black, her hair in low pigtails.  She was the closest, and she’d always been brave.

Moments. )

Also, I can't remember who this is going to make happy, but I know it's somebody.  I now LOVE Top Gear.

Well, here's my protest fic for In The Dark!  I'm not a character basher, so there's no Mann hatred in this.

“Why,” she fixed him with a stare, “have you got Abby’s shoes here?”

He took a swig of his beer.  “She left them here.”

 - Mann gets a little look into the personal friendship between Abby and Gibbs, and doesn't quite like what she sees.

Also, Jane?  I hope everything is going ok and that your mum is feeling better.  You're in my thoughts, my dear.

Abby gets shot.

Hehehe, that should get your attention.  Written before I'd heard of or seen Cover Story.

He took off his NCIS windbreaker, rolled it up and pressed it to her.  She cried out and he felt something vile rise in the back of his throat.

Prepare yourselves for a shock.

We have angst!  It's not deeply angsty, but it can, in no way, shape or form, be considered fluffy!  It's a bit different from my usual stuff, (obviously) so tell me what you think!

*does tribal dance around laptop...don't quite know why*

A post-Hiatus fic, that deals with Abby, Tony and Gibbs.

Some things, it seemed, were just not his anymore.

How cool are these lyrics?  It's from Chumbawamba's "Don't Try This At Home."

gunpowder and modem
and a dream of liberty
and then they'll tell you;
don't try this at home

The first line is so cool!

Well, this isn’t a chronological continuation of the last story.  It’s the next step of the theme, but it comes about entirely separately of the events of the last fic.  I might still do a direct follow-on, but for the moment, this is what’s in my head.

About two-thousand words, each and every one of them scutinized to death.  This took me about four hours to write!  I'm extremely happy with the end result, if I may say so myself.

One thing though, it helps to have read this fic here, because otherwise an entire part of the story will make NO sense at all.  http://imaginary-iby.livejournal.com/7796.html#cutid1

Basically, the fic deals with three different things; Gibbs' return, Abby's past and how Abby feels about Tony, Gibbs, Ziva, McGee and Ducky.

Well, I've been MIA the past couple of weeks.  Computer problems and muse problems and just problems of the problematic variety.  Sorry guys, thanks for your patience!

So, this idea came to me last night whilst watching Grey's Anatomy.  Possibly a two-parter, depends if you guys want a conclusion.  At the moment it's a one-shot.  It's about Abby's past.

New fic that deals with Kate's death, only it doesn't really.  Oi Vey with the poodles already.

[info]wiccagirl24 I'm nearly done beta'ing your fic!  I'm so so sorry it's taken me a while to get it back to you.  It's coming by dear.

Tomorrow we get our entertainment system!  We're getting a flat screen high definition t.v, a dvd player/recorder/VCR, an X-Box 360 and a television cabinet.  Just to clarify, this is like the biggest treat the family has ever had.  We don't regularly spend this sort of money, it's a once a decade sort of thing, like others might go on a holiday.

I want to bottle my work friends up and keep them in my pocket.  I love them to death.

Hung out at the airport today to see my mum's friend off.  She's going to India to meditate at an ashram for three weeks.

I wrote this at the hospital yesterday, so it's kind of strange.  A bit more dialogue than my usual stuff, so it has a different feel.

My take on how Abby and Gibbs met.  Not the duck story though! :)

Part Two of the DRAGONESSASMITH birthday fics.

I don't know what's happening.  I'm the world's biggest Josh/Donna shipper, way more obsessive about them than I've ever been about Gibbs/Abby, and I've only ever written one fic for them.  I can't seem to stop with these two.  So, eeeeek!  Sorry for the fic spamming!  I guess it's what you get spending your days on long train journeys and walking through life with a notepad and pen.

From the prompt

2.  Gibbs consults Abby before hiring the new guy, Tony DiNozzo.
