Why don't you ask her yourself?

Oh bloody hell and sod. Oh fuck. Why!? WHY!? WHY!?!? WHY!?!

I don't think I've ever been more broken by words than I have been by those words, and that scene. Just watch it. Watch it. Watch their expressions, breathe in Donna's love and happiness for them and...It's stunningly perfect. That scene is so touching; as touching as the beach scene is heartbreaking.

. . . .

I had a few realizations today, which I've known for ages but today they hit me with the force of a truck.

NO NEW WHO UNTIL CHRISTMAS! EEEEEK! As it is, I'm not sure I'll be able to watch anymore, even though they're not yet being overseen by The Dark Lord.

and, much more randomly:

Lupin and Tonks are gone! *wails*

. . . .

I also realized today that a large percentage of my time is spent lamenting and trying to accept the fact that I'll never snog David Tennant. I mean, isn't it just the greatest tragedy of our time?

Does anybody on my fantastic flist know exactly how the public tickets for Hamlet will work?

I know that they're supposed to go on sale September 12, but I just don't understand what tickets there are left to sell/seats there are to sit in/places to stand, if members have already pretty much bought them all.

Anybody know?

I've been listening to the Doctor Who proms today and wow. Just wow. I would have given my left arm to have been there, especially since Jupiter is one of my favourite pieces of music. The theme for Doomsday still makes me want to lay down and weep; the opening keyboard part in particular makes my heart sieze up. The opening song, All The Strange Strange Creatures, the song they used for a lot of season four telly spots, is so unbelievably cool.

Solving Clues and Finding Who.
So. I had a dream last night that a video tape of The Stolen Earth and Journey's End had been hidden somewhere in a city (I'm not sure which) by BBC Wales. Myself and a group of people had been given a sheet of clues, and each clue solved moved us closer to the location of the tape.

We were progressing very nicely, solving impossible riddles as one always does in dreams. We'd just walked into a pub called the Upside Arms, and there was a supernatural/ghostly wind. We were close, very close, to the loaction of the tape. Then my alarm went off.

Darnation! I was this close to finding a dream!tape of Doctor Who.

I have a party on Saturday night. Thusly, I've decided not to drink too much because I've got to set my alarm for 5.45AM Sunday morning to get The Stolen Earth. I don't want to feel like I've been put through a blender and then stapled back together whilst watching it!

I believe that this is a legitimate concern, but my friends think I'm a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

EDIT: New Behind the Scenes Pictures of The Stolen Earth/Journey's End

Not particularly spoilery, but they *are* from future episodes and contain the characters that appear in them, so...

Billie and David are so cute together. If there was any more chemistry between them, the world would explode. They're all snuggles and flopping about together on the ground and grinning dopily at each other. *squishes them tightly and never lets them go*

Second Edit

Catherine Tate: I always struggle to keep up with David because he hasn't got breasts like I have. Breasts aren't built for running.

I love you, Catherine Tate. I freaking love you to bits and pieces. It is so bloody true and I'm glad that you've acknowledged it.

Girls, are you with me?

Ok, this relates to season four of Docor Who, but it isn't spoilery.

Billie's quote on the front of Doctor Who magazine?

"This season will make you cry. That's a promise."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*stomps feet*

That is not what I want to hear! GAH! My hair already turned grey long ago. I can't afford to LOSE it!

Doctor Who is like a drug. I am THIS close to not watching, because I don't think the stress is doing me any good, but I can't not watch, because...well, the world will explode.

As it is, I'm getting a little tired of Doctor Who being sad and stressful and always awful for the Doctor. It's almost as bad as Battlestar Galactica. I know that there's only thirteen episodes, so they don't have as much room to play with as some other shows but...I think a bit more levity would be great. Like The Unicorn and The Wasp. There should be more of that, where it's just about having fun and being entertained. As far as I can tell, most folks thought that episode was a hoot!

. . . .

I don't know about anybody else, but with these Hamlet pictures going around, my whole life seems to be about resisting the urge to push David Tennant up against a wall and shag him senseless snog the living daylights out of him. Never mind the fact that I'm in Australia and he's in the United Kingdom, never mind the fact that I'm 20 and he's 37 (not a problem for me, for him, perhaps) and never mind the fact that...well, he's David Tennant and I'm me.

He should not go around looking so scrummy.

Why Do People Not Understand?
GAH! *STOMP!STOMP!STOMP!* VERY ANGRY

Why do people not understand that they CANNOT just go throwing about scenes from Doomsday!!??

Why do people not understand that my Denial is carefully tended to? That I water it daily and prune it and make sure it doesn't burn in direct sunlight?

I've just finished watching the Doctor Who Confidential for The Doctor's Daughter. Everything was going along swimmingly and then suddenly, WHAM, they cut to the beach scene, just as Rose declared her love for the Doctor and he tried to in return.

Why do people not understand that I would rather jump off a cliff, sans parachute, than watch that scene?

Why do people not understand that it makes it hard for me to sleep at night?

It's almost as bad as the Doctor Who exhibition in Cardiff! Everything was going along wonderfully and then SUDDENLY, the Rose-Loses-Her-Grip-On-The-Lever Scene smacked me in the face.

EDIT: Talk about weird timing. I just walked out of my bedroom to find dad watching the telly; Bad Wolf is on, and it was the scene where Rose gets disintegrated - one of my favourite scenes, purely for the pain on the Doctor's face. Gosh, he loved her so much.

All Hail the Great and Wonderful Donna.
I love Donna.

I love Donna.

I love Donna.

I really love Donna.

All the love that I had for Donna?

It is now magnified by one thousand million billion trillion, with a little bit of google on the end.

Just so much love for her. Could she be any more brilliant?

For the first time ever, I also found myself having a genuine emotional response to Martha, something deep in my belly. When she cried, I cried with her, because Freema played it wonderfully.

Love the Donna.

David, can I have your babies? Seriously, you are such a brilliant actor.

Here is my incredibly thoughtful, intellectual, coherent, rational and detailed response to the Doctor Who season four trailer:

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

Keep in mind that English is supposed to be (ha! *laughs self into oblivion*) my forte in life.

In the future, I shall discuss how Marxism, Gender Theory and many other wonderful poncy notions apply. Not well, of course. For now I shall sign off with:

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

*faints*

Also, can I just say how much I love you guys?! Nobody in my family gets how exciting this all is, and my parents watch Who! You guys know how wonderful this is! You're probably squeeing with me, right?

Edit: I've just found the Doctor's theme song:

BJORK LYRICS

"Human Behaviour"

If you ever get close to a human
and human behaviour
be ready to get confused

there's definitely no logic
to human behaviour
but yet so irresistible

there is no map
to human behaviour

they're terribly moody
then all of a sudden turn happy
but, oh, to get involved in the exchange
of human emotions is ever so satisfying

there's no map and
a compass
wouldn't help at all

human behaviour

This is a quote from "Untitled" which is one of the Doctor/Rose tales in the Doctor Who 2007 Storybook.

"But the more he concentrated, the more the blur seemed to steady and he could make out a shape through all the rush. There was a girl looking in at him, so scared - yeah, scared but so brave and there was a name to go with that girl, Rose Tyler. He didn't know his own name anymore (who am I?) but he knew her, she was Rose Tyler and she was the most important thing to him. She was Rose and he was the Doctor, yeah, Rose and the Doctor.

Rose was his best friend and his job was to protect her. Rose and the Doctor, (who am I?), the Doctor and Rose, it went together like bangers and mash, like fish and chips (who am I? I'm the Doctor).

Rose defined him and he was the Doctor, he was the Doctor and he wouldn't forget again."

. . . .

"Look, it's happy now. It never wanted to take over the universe, it just wanted to find out what it was, and what it was for. That's better than most life-forms get. If I hadn't found out what I was for, I'd never have made it out of there."

"So," said Rose, "what did you find out? What are you for?"

But the Doctor just smiled and took her hand.

. . . .

IS GLEEEEEEEEEEFUL!

Is that not just the sweetest thing? It almost outdoes, "give her back to me."

This is going to sound incredibly naive but...

I simply cannot wrap my mind around people who hate Rose.

Oh, I understand the notion of differing opinions; I get it, but I can't comprehend how anybody can look at her and not be head over heels in love with her!

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that she was a directionaless shopgirl, which is me in a nutshell.

I know Who is nothing if not fraught with different views on characters - given the fact that there have been about eighty thousand cast members who were all regulars. I think my confusion stems from new!Who folks, more than the fans of the old generation. People who had a favourite from old!school (that must have, at some point been replaced) aren't necessarily coming into the show and characters with a fresh mind.

Doctor Who season four cinema trailer!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Sorry. I'd love to be able to tell you that I'm just embellishinng for the sake of writing to get my excitement across, but I can't. I actually did all of those things. You guys know me; it's true.

I'm actually really excited about season four. I think Donna's going to be brilliant. I used to not like Catherine Tate because I can't stand that show of hers, but I've seen interviews of her and she actually seems really nice and funny and odd. She and David were brilliant in the skit for charity and their little thing for the Laura Crane trust. I'm hoping, also, that she doesn't fall in love with the Doctor.

Also, yay for that season four spoiler that everybody knows but is still a spoiler! Teehee!

*promptly faints from too much glee and squee*

I just had the dorkiest moment of my entire life.

For Christmas, I was given a TARDIS money bank. When you open the doors, the Tenth Doctor speaks. When you shut them, it makes the de/materialization sounds. It even has the light on the top that flashes. My sister and I just sat in my room, in the dark, and closed the doors.

*IS GLEEFUL*

The TARDIS flashed on and off before fading to black!

To top it off, when it stopped and my room was once again dark, we used the Sonic screwdriver torch that I was given at Christmas to navigate our way back to the light switch. The sonic screwdriver which led me to the fuse box the other night when the power went off.

*dances a dorky dance*

Also, in the spirit of diplomacy, I bought Martha's Theme from iTunes.

It's beautiful. However, as with all the other beautiful songs from the Doctor Who albums, I shall not be able to listen to it.

Why? I'm insane, that's why. Even the tiniest hint of a tune from Doctor Who makes me all upset and unsettled about Rose and Doomsday.

I simply cannot! *STOMPS FEET*

Mum and I went into the city yesterday. I popped into Minotaur and got a lovely little print of the TARDIS which I will have framed.

Now, most of my friends (scratch that, all of my friends) aren't fangirls or fanboys, althouth one bloke does love Top Gear. One girl, in the early stages of our friendship turned to me and said "what's Doctor Who? I've never heard of that." I nearly fainted. It wasn't as bad as when a girl from school asked me who exactly the Beatles were. That was a dark period for me. Anyway, my friends rock socks and make my day, so the fact that they're not best buds with the BBC doesn't haunt me. Still though, I have to admit that it felt nice being surrounded by people talking about Torchwood and whatnot. One bloke said, "oh yeah, he turns into the Face of Boe!" I felt like I was surrounded by my people. It was so cool hearing the word Slitheen in the background.

Annnnnyway.

I have work tonight. *sigh* I don't know why I ever let them put me in charge. I hate it, I'm not very good at it and it boggles my mind how rude people can be. Not to mention that people get hung up on the silliest of things! I'm very, very, very laid back and easy going. So, when people come in and want to fill out a complaint form for a pasta sauce (because it tastes weird) that only costs two dollars, I kind of freak out in my mind.

All in the name of an extra seven dollars.

Now, to make the day even worse, dad's taking me on a driving lesson. Sigh...what with their going away, it's been a long time since I've driven. I'll probably try and reverse in third gear or do something equally as silly.

Every single time I listen to Tainted Love, my insides melt. I swirl into memories of the Ninth Doctor, at his most adorkable, bouncing around and grinning like a lunatic and just generally making me love him to shreds.

Does anyone else feel like they sort of bounce around between Doctors? I love both Nine and Ten, completely equally, but one day I feel like reading Nine!fic, one day I feel like reading Ten!fic. They're both so wonderful.

My folks flew off this morning. The plane was delayed an hour, which was jolly, but now they're out there somewhere flying as I type. It was hard having to turn my back on the doors to customs. Mostly because I was jealous and wanted to go too, but that's neither here nor there.

Take care of them, please!
