All Hail the Great and Wonderful Donna.
I love Donna.

I love Donna.

I love Donna.

I really love Donna.

All the love that I had for Donna?

It is now magnified by one thousand million billion trillion, with a little bit of google on the end.

Just so much love for her. Could she be any more brilliant?

For the first time ever, I also found myself having a genuine emotional response to Martha, something deep in my belly. When she cried, I cried with her, because Freema played it wonderfully.

Love the Donna.

David, can I have your babies? Seriously, you are such a brilliant actor.

I was re-wathing The Last of the Time Lords this morning.

I know ER isn't real life, but I sometimes wonder, instead of the Doctor cradling dying people in his arms (the Master)...why doesn't he just whip out a scalpel?

I mean, he never tries to stop the bleeding or anything.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

I loves Donna too. Can you image Donna's kid from that machine. I'm assume of course that disposition is transfered (seem so with Jenny.) Bwhahaha.

I just love her SO MUCH! Her decimal system thing was BRILLIANT! Even better than:

I'm looking forward to a big Donna story next week. Or at least, there should be a lot of Donna, hopefully XD

I hope so too! It's a mystery-solving ep, so Donna should be brilliant at that. She counld be a private eye!

Donna!

Don't get me wrong, I will always, always adore Rose because of how epic she and the Doctor were together, but I have to say right now Donna is on the top of my list for favourite companion. She is just brilliant in every sense of the word.

Donna's the first character that I've ever loved as much as Rose, which is saying something HUGE!

I love them in very different ways, because they're very different things to the Doctor; I think the Doctor was in love with Rose, whereas he simply loves Donna because she's made of shiny!awesome!win!

The decision to have a companion that was simply a friend to him was the best thing the show's done in a while. I'm loving it to shreds.

I know. I'm so glad there isn't any kind of love story wrapped into this season between the Doctor and his companion, it just makes it so refreshing and offers so many new angles. Best friend love FTW! And Catherine just makes it that much more amazing. I can't wait for episode 11 because I've read in about three different places, R.T.D say how astonishing and brilliant she is in that episode *bites nails*

I wasn't a fan of Catherine's work in that show she does, and when she was announced as the companion in the Christmas Special, I was not a happy camper. In the end, I loved her in The Runaway Bride, but that pales in comparison to how she is now. Donna is just so cool and Catherine in real life comes off as the funnest sweetie in the world.

I am, quite frankly, TERRIFIED of the end of this season. All the spoiler stuff (let me clarify, are you ok with spoilers? I am) and Donna...I want it now and I also never want it.

*hugs*

Seriously! First time I've ever actually liked Martha...which of course meant that she immediately left again. *sigh*

The way Freema cried broke my heart. I really felt that she was upset. I actually quite like Martha, but being the little Rose-lover that I am, there's this barrier that I can't overcome. Her mooning over the Doctor got a bit annoying, but she redeemed herself with the three-parter at the end of season three.

I AGREE SO MUCH.

I think it's pretty much because he's not a medical Doctor. Like, he probably knows basic stuff, but not enough to be REALLY useful.

YAYS!

But...the Doctor knows pretty much everything that there is to know, doesn't he? I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't know how to operate on someone. Somebody should at least have the common sense to stop the blood flow. Something about it doesn't sit right with me.

Then again, I'm not a doctor! *g*

She really is, isn't she? JUST SO COOL!

I think the decision to have a companion that was a little older, that would clip him over the ear, and simply be his friend was beyond brilliant. They've really earned their salt this year.

Yes, yes! I love the Doctor/Donna dynamic. She's almost like an older sister to him in the way she relates to him and I love that.

I mean, he never tries to stop the bleeding or anything.

He's a bit of a dork when it comes to the practical things, I think. Like the gas in the car thing two weeks ago - he's running around going "what do I do" and standing in the middle of the road looking at the sky while I'm shouting "take a lesson from Gibbs. Smash the window!!!!"

Donna rocks. This was the best Martha ep ever (if only she had been like this last season!) and Jenny rocks.

Oh my gosh! Me too! I was like "break the glass, you ninny! Break the glass!" He did just sort of stand there, looking to the sky.

I wasn't a big fan of Jenny, but, she was A LOT better than I thought she'd be. The episode was great, if predictable. You're right, if Martha had been like this last season, I would have warmed to her considerable more. As it is, Donna is spectacular. I just want to hug Catherine Tate and thank her profusely.

How are you!? It feels like it's been so long since we've spoken. Have you enjoyed the recent NCIS?

I love Donna toooo. She's tied with for second favourite companion. It goes Rose, and then Jack and Donna fightin it out for number two. Mostly cause I think it would be awesome to see those two fight.

I know ER isn't real life, but I sometimes wonder, instead of the Doctor cradling dying people in his arms (the Master)...why doesn't he just whip out a scalpel?
AHAHAHAHAHA!!! I agree. I mean really, he is The Doctor after all. And there's that THE in front of Doctor, which means he's like, the ultimate Doctor. Right?

See, and please don't throw rocks at me...I never went all lovey over Jack. Oh, I really like him, don't get me wrong, but everybody seems to love him. I can see why, but it just doesn't affect me the same way. I think it's just that, when I first watched season one with my Rose/Doctor goggles on (not that I ever take them off) I thought: INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! and I never got over it entirely.

THANKYOU! I'm glad it's not just me that wonders about this. I think he'd actually be quite competent in the operating room; I mean, the idea is that he knows pretty much everything that there is to know. Some things must be learned and puzzled out, like in the episodes, but operating procedures, which are in textbooks...I just think he'd have come across that knowledge.

Donna is totally made of awesome. They've done a fabulous job of re-inventing her after the Xmas special.

The scene at the end of Poison Sky summed her up for me; Martha hugged him, Donna whacked him. Made. Of. Awesome.

I want Donna & Jack to meet :-)

They really have done a terrific job, haven't they? I liked her in the christmas special, but as RTD acknowledged, she couldn't have been that character for an entire season because people would go batty. They way they've moulded her during the season is beyond fantastic.

Teeeeheeee, that scene was very good! If Rose had've been there, I like to think that she'd have snogged the living daylights out of him. *g*

I think the end of the season is supposed to be one big companion convention, isn't it?

Oh, I couldn't have watched another ep with her if she'd stayed the same! It's the first time I've ever liked CT, so am very impressed *g*

Most likely :-)

I think so. Time to stock up on the tissues again...

I.LOVE.Donna.

I was at first worried because she wasn't my favorite in Runaway Bride (I think it was because I was annoyed at the fact that Rose wasn't on my screen anymore), but now I absolutely love her!! There isn't an episode where she hasn't made me laugh and she is constantly made of awesome.

I also agree about the whole being a doctor thing. While I was watching this week's episode all I could think was, "there's nothing either of you can do?" Because even though the Doctor may not know everything about medicine (which he probably does), Martha should have been able to do more than check her pulse and look somber. *tsk tsk*
