Hello, and welcome to my humble abode. This journal is friends only - everything except fanfiction is locked. If I've caught your eye, (I'd have it checked), please feel free to introduce yourself here. It makes sense if we've a few things in common, but any and all are welcome!
:)

One tiny thing - please don't friend me if your journal is utterly empty, and will remain empty. If you're on eljay just to comment, that's fine - I just want signs of life. :)

If you wish to read my fanfiction, it is public, and can be found here.

Merci.

Title: Daft and Dashing in the Delta.
Written For: [info]thette
Rating: G.
Beta: The old ball and chain lovely [info]dave7
Spoilers: Set after Journey's End.
Prompts: "I'll show them all!" and a few old!school references. I wasn't too sure where to go with these, because they were fairly general prompts, so I hope the fic is alright. *g*
Author's Note: Unforgivably late, and I apologise both to [info]thette and the mods, who have been brilliant and polite, when they should have been snarling at me and whacking me with pitchforks. It's quite cracky, sorry.

Summary: The Doctor and Rose take a short break from saving the world and instead set their sights on distant and exotic Botswana. With nought but a dodgy old car that's always stuck in third gear, a driver with no sense of direction and their somewhat addled wits, how long will they last?

The Okavango Delta, Botswana

Yes, this was inspired by the lovely Richard Hammond and his trusty Oliver.

Title: A Little Red London Phone Box.
Rating: PG.15
Pairings: Ten I/Rose, Ten II/Rose.
Spoilers: Journey's End.
Genre: A little angst and a lot of romance. I wouldn't call this fluffy, but rather very romantic.
Summary: The Doctor can spend the rest of his life with Rose Tyler; she cannot spend the rest of her life with him. A story of overcoming unequal life-spans and loving two men who are the same, but so very different.

Title: Not Dreams But Memories.
Author: Iby.
Spoilers: A post-ep to Journey's End.
Genre: Romance. I wouldn't call this fluffy, but rather romantic.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose; Rose/Ten.
Rating: PG.13.
Author's Note: Written solely to make myself and (hopefully) others smile. Also? Coming up with a non-spoilery summary to this fic was harder than trying to understand my old Chinese classes. I failed Chinese, by the by.
Summary: He does not dream of a life with her. He remembers a life with her.

Title: Practice Makes Perfect.
Author: Iby.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose; Rose/Ten.
Genre: Fluff, romance, fluff, humour, fluff, deadly fluff.
Spoilers: Nope, not a spoiler in sight.
Rating: PG.13
Author's Note: Something of a second part to What's Mine Is Yours. You don't have to have read that though, this is a story in its own right.

Summary: Moving in with someone is always a bit of a hit and miss experience, but when one of you is a twenty-three year old human and the other is a nine hundred year old Time Lord, there's a lot that can go wrong!

Written for someone who is feeling poorly. You know who you are.

Title: Of Realizations and Declarations.
Author: Iby.
Rating: PG-15.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Jackie Tyler; Rose/Ten.
Genre: Romance, fluff, angst, humour.
Spoilers: The Idtiot's Lantern and World War Three are alluded to, but nothing is really revealed.
Author's Note: I am, oddly, happy with this one. It doesn't embarrass me. *grins*
Summary: When the true nature of the Doctor and Rose's relationship is revealed in the most embarrassing of ways, the Doctor finds himself having to explain to Jackie Tyler just how much her daughter means to him.

Title: Lost and Found.
Author: Iby.
Rating: Adult.
Genre: Romance, hurt/comfort, angst, established relationship, smut.
Spoilers: Nope.
Author's Note: Written at five this morning, re-written at eleven tonight. So, you know - aplogies! This fic is an exploration into the notion of lost senses. I've temporarily rendered Rose blind and deaf. Fear not, it's not cliched. It's a look at how Rose would need to touch to feel safe and how the Doctor would go about making love to her in such a state. Until he can get her back to the TARDIS. Established relationship.

Summary: Separated on a war-torn planet, the Doctor searches desperately for Rose. When he finds her, how will he comfort her?

Title: How to Canoodle When You've Got Kids.
Author: Iby.
Rating: PG.15. There's some kissing whilst pressed up against walls and a few naughty sentences, but nothing serious.
Genre: Romance, fluff, alleged humour.
Spoilers: Nope.
Characters and Pairings: The Ninth Doctor, Rose, Molly; Nine/Rose.
Author's Note: I'm starting to get embarrassed by all the fluff.

Written for [info]dave7's birthday, although he's probably sorry to hear it. *grins*

- Some of us try to deny it. Some of us try to laugh it off. Some of us try to suppress the memory of it. In the end though, it happens to us all; we walk in on our parents doing something we're not supposed to see. Hoping to stave off the inevitable, Rose comes up with some rules for the bedroom, but getting the Doctor to comply is seventeen different kinds of tricky.

Title: Stuck in Class.
Author: Iby.
Genre: Possible humour, romance, fluff.
Rating: PG-13 for ear nibbling and jaw kissing.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose; Ten/Rose.
Spoilers: Nope.
Author's Note: Possibly the silliest thing I've ever written, but my sister insisted that I post it. It's a distant relative of the Molly!verse. *falls on knees in apology*

Faced with the threat of being slapped by Jackie, The Doctor is forced to accompany Rose to a birthing class. Hijinks ensue!

Title: Sockdonia!
Author: Iby.
Genre: crack!that's!not!quite!crack! and a smidgeon of fluff.
Characters and Pairings: The Ninth Doctor, Rose; Nine/Rose.
Spoilers: Nope.
Author's Note:  [info]blemt doesn't know it yet, but a stray comment on her part inspired me to write this.

Do you ever wonder where lost socks disappear to?  Do you ever wonder if there's a distant and magical land designed to cater to the retired sock's every whim? Well, if you do don't fret, because the Doctor has the answers!

Title: What's Mine is Yours.
Author: Iby.
Genre: fluff, romance, snogging whilst pressed up against things, which *is* a genre, thankyouverymuch.
Rating: PG-15.
Spoilers: Nope.
Author's Notes: Erm...I wrote this at four in the morning. I...well, I'm sorry!

Summary: Uncharacteristically shy, the Doctor comes up with a cunning plan on how best to ask Rose to move into his bedroom with him.

Title: Home Again.
Author: Iby.
Rating: PG-13.
Genre: Humour, fluff and romance. Reunion!fic.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, Martha, Donna, Jack; Rose/Ten.
Spoilers: References to The Runaway Bride.
Author's Note:  I've developed a liking for adding both Martha and Donna into my fics, so I thought I'd throw Jack in there too just for the sake of it.  I've tried to make them genuine friends and hope the sense of camaraderie really shows.
Summary: With Rose in the TARDIS once more, the Doctor decides it's time to put everything back in its proper place; which means her shirt has to go back over the railing in the console room.

Title: The Best Intentions.
Author: Iby.
Genre: angst, hurt/comfort, romance.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, Martha and Donna; Rose/Ten.
Rating: G.
Author's Note: For once, something not drenched in fluff.  Post reunion, in which Ten, Rose, Donna and Martha all travel together.
Summary:  Trying to keep Rose safe and out of trouble, the Doctor ends up hurting her deeply, possibly irreparably. Can he repair the damage and convince her to stay?

Title: The Gift of Sleep.
Author: Iby.
Genre: I thought I'd shock you all by writing something fluffy and romantic, because I don't normally go in for those things. *grins* Post-reunion!fic.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, The Torchwood crew; Rose/Ten.
Rating: PG-13.
Author: Written solely to make your dentist shriek, wail and come at you brandishing a toothbrush.
Summary: The Doctor looks down his biologically superior nose at all those who require regular sleep to live, but as it turns out, all he needed was to feel safe before he too was out like a light.

Title: The Friendly Campaign.
Author: Iby.
Genre: Fluff, romance, fluff, humour, fluff. The usual suspects.
Rating: G.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, certain figures from our reality; Rose/Ten.
Author's Note: Slightly, a tiny bit cracky. Only a tiny bit - it's more excessive happiness than anything else.
Summary: The Doctor gets to meet his hero. It turns out that his hero isn't a brilliant scientist, nor a prodigal musician, nor a gifted artist, but rather an Earthling with a simple, friendly goal.

Title: Habitual Kisses.
Author: Iby.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, Jackie; Rose/Ten.
Genre: Fluff, romance, the usual suspects.
Spoilers: Nope.
Rating: G.
Summary: It was so domestic, so casual. It wasn’t like most of their kisses, it wasn't particularly passionate or especially affectionate, it just was. She hadn’t meant to tease him with it, reward him with it, arouse him with it. It was like a habit, like it was perfectly normal to kiss him, like she’d been doing it forever and would continue to do it.

For [info]dave7 who has to once again leave home and go to a place he's not enjoying.

Title: The Tie Thief.
Author: Iby.
Rating: M. It's suggestive rather than explicit.
Genre: Romance, fluff, humour. Mutual tie!porn.
Characters and Pairings: The Tenth Doctor, Rose, Jackie; Ten/Rose, established relationship.
Summary: The Doctor's ties are being stolen. To ensure their safe return, he'll have to teach the thief how to tie them. Can he overcome certain naked distractions to do so?
Author's Note: For some reason, I find the idea of the Doctor teaching Rose how to tie a tie terribly hot. This might be followed by "The Spectacle Thief" and "The Converse Thief," if people so desire.

Title: Lessons of a Peculiar Nature.
Author: Moi.
Rating: I'm going to go with a very, very, very light M.
Genre: fluff, romance, humour.
Spoilers: Nope.
Summary: Ever curious, the Doctor questions Rose about the practice of naming sexual positions.
Author's Note: This is just about the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever written. If you take it in the spirit that it's given, hopefully you'll find it amusing.
